We are a family business based on the outskirts of Horsham in West Sussex. We converted to a limited company at the beginning of January 2016 when our business started to take off and grow.
We undertake all manner of construction work from garden walls & fencing to building houses and most things in-between.
We specialise in engineered solutions and repair to retaining walls and structures, whether they are formed of soil, stone, brick, concrete, steel piling, even bungaroosh.

All our services are customer/client-driven. We pride ourselves is listening to our customer’s needs before offering advice on solutions and alternatives – We never tell a customer what they should do, we offer sufficient information for our customers to make informed decisions.
Project Design
The benefits of a design or professional specification safeguard YOU, the customer, whereas:
- A professional engineer or surveyor will hold “Professional Indemnity Insurance” (PI) – This insures against failure, that the specification is fit for purpose and will achieve the required solution.
- Building Contractors do not usually hold PI insurance & will only be able to insure against the design being inappropriate if they are also professionally qualified in that discipline e.g. Structural engineer. Not many SE’s are builders!
- You, the customer, own the design – Give the specification to your preferred contractors and they should quote against the exact requirements – if they want to do their own thing, you need to ask yourself why?
- BEFORE paying your contractors – Ensure the work matches the design. Your designer will do this for you, either as part of the original fee, if agreed, or for a fixed fee on completion – Usually around £150, but you could do this yourself if you feel comfortable to do so.
- Don’t forget to take photo’s during the construction phase – it will help with transparency and evidence the internal stuff you won’t be able to see when finished e.g. insulation, structural elements, RSJ’s etc.
- DON’T pay until the completed work meets specification!!
